In collaboration with the Belgian Alfa Matrix label, the world's number 1
gothic/industrial community website will release its first official
VampireFreaks.com compilation in the spring of 2007.
With over 700,000 members, and no less than 2,000 bands, VampireFreaks.com
gets 200,000 unique visitors a day (4 million page views a day)! The site is
massively popular across a variety of subcultures, including gothic,
industrial, fetish, metal, punk, rave and alternative crowds yet keeps its
focus on industrial / electronic music, thereby raising awareness and
exposing new people to the industrial scene like no other.
Titled after VampireFreaks.com's associated online store, the "Fuck The Mainstream" compilation will feature a mixture of industrial music
sub-genres (elektro, gothic, EBM, darkwave, metal crossover, power noise, etc.).
Take your chance to be part of this promising compilation project by sending

Deadline for submissions: 15th February 2007 (but as usual: first in first served!)
Priority is given to VampireFreaks.com member artists. Please note that preference goes to previously unreleased tracks/mixes when available. Having an excellent band photo for the booklet is a plus.

I will also be implementing a voting system where site members can help choose which bands will be picked to be on the compilation.
